Final PFT for OCC 209 Scheduled

I will be running my final PFT for my OCC 209 application on Friday, 4 November 2011.

My target of 100 crunches, 20 pull-ups, and a 21:30 3-mile would give me a 279, which is competitive. My current score is only 243 from the day I contracted, which is completely uncompetitive.

  2. Dang, it always seems to pop up out of nowhere, that final PFT. Our OSO told us that the average for the last board was 290+ pft, but most of us think he's bluffing, and saying that to motivate us. I don't know myself, I just bust my ass. I'm praying to GOD to get selected this time; I don't know if you heard, but there won't be a summer OCC 2012, unless you're a female...so the next one won't be until OCT. 2012. Needless to say, I will run this final PFT as though the devil himself were chasing me. Good luck, bro. I know that even if I don't get selected on this one, I'll never give up on this until I do. God bless.

  3. Do you have a facebook link you could share? I'm currently contracted for ground, and my currently PFT is 296. I didn't get selected for 208 as well, and I made a 284. I'm also waiting for the 209 board.

  4. @Allie, thanks! I hope to be able to see you out there sometime soon, too! Maybe I can finally join you and Drew on one of your adventures.

@Alex, that's what I heard, too. I wouldn't be surprised if the average PFT for Ground was 290+; ground is extremely competitive right now. Really, the whole darn program is competitive. If you check out my latest entry ("Waiting for Selection Results of OCC 209"), you'll see that I outperformed my own expectations and I think I got a good, competitive score!

@Anonymous, feel free to send me a friend request on Facebook. But, be sure to tell me you found me through this blog, or I won't know who you are and likely won't approve it. http://www.facebook.com/calebwallen
